工作職能
- Ensure accurate, complete and timely establishment of all design packages, and coordinate split packages, construction schedule continues without delays. Design package responsibilities shall include design compliance under local legislative laws
- Establish and follow a process to identify and select the most suitable designer / consultant best suited for each project based on the predetermined selection criterion to meet specific performance standards
- Follow policies and control guidelines in close collaboration with Commercial Team and Internal Audit Team on tendering, cost control and monitoring measure
- Manage multiple projects design process and participates in the production of all design and construction documents across different disciplines including design analysis, drawings, specifications and other normally encountered design documents
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manages resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Facilitate responses to Request for Information between the Design Team and Design Consultants
- Manage the design within the overall project budget and reviewing cost effective design alternatives
- Manage and participate in the quality control of all design documents
- Organize and follow an effective and efficient design review on constructability and scheduling of deliverables to ensure design / budget comprehension and administers change order approval
- Monitor design planning and design progress to report project-specific risks throughout the delivery life cycle and recommends corrective actions as appropriate
- Record design-related issues, decisions, and actions within electronic documentation management system and manage to resolution in a performance driven environment
- Undertake project administration, including daily correspondence, drawing control, IT strategies, filing and secretariat within the project zone and context
- Monitor and follow-up with Contractors / Consultants timely submission of quality deliverables under terms of contract
- Collect materials on lessons learnt upon completion of each project with recommendation about what / how to do / avoid in subsequent projects as a project close-out activities related to design consultant obligations and deliverables
- Proactive to meeting challenging requirements and cognizant of needs to liaise across team members
- Capable to work and liaise with colleagues of inter-departments and business partners, seeking supports as necessary
- Perform other job related duties as assigned
職位要求
- Bachelor degree holder in a relevant subject
- Corporate member of relevant professional institution
- Minimum 10 years’ full time paid professional experience managing capital projects that included the overall design from feasibility study, design & planning, to construction supervision and handover to operation
- Fluent knowledge of design across different design disciplines in various capital projects from inception to closeout phases for successful delivery to operators
- Computer literate and numerate
- Proactively take appropriate action without required continued direction or guidance
- Effectively manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Capable to organize, lead, manage and train all staff to implement all work scopes required by the Employer / Developer
